Privacy Policy

Online CSC Wala is an independent information platform for government job alerts and citizen services. This policy explains the limited personal data we handle, the services that process it on our behalf, and the choices available to you. We do not sell personal data.

1. Who we are

Online CSC Wala (“we”, “us”) operates this website. For privacy requests, contact us at onlinecscwala@gmail.com. We are an independent publisher and are not affiliated with any government department or recruitment board.

2. What we collect

• Account data. If you create an account, we collect your email address and authentication credentials. Passwords are hashed and managed by our authentication provider; we never see them in plain text. A display name is optional.
• Content you send us. If you email us a correction, copyright notice or question, we receive your email address and whatever you include in the message.
• Bookmarks and preferences. Saved posts, theme choice and consent choices are stored in your browser's local storage. They stay on your device unless you are signed in and a feature explicitly syncs them.
• Technical logs. Our hosting and database providers record standard request data such as IP address, browser type, timestamps and error diagnostics for security and reliability.
• Analytics (optional). If you allow analytics and a measurement ID is configured, Google Analytics 4 records page views and aggregate usage. We do not use it to identify you personally.
• Advertising (optional). If you allow advertising, Google AdSense or a direct sponsor may set cookies and collect device data to serve and measure ads.

We do not ask for government ID numbers, bank details, biometric data or precise location. Never send those to us by email.

3. Why we use it

• To create and secure your account and keep you signed in.
• To operate bookmarks, tools and other features you request.
• To answer corrections, copyright notices and support messages.
• To protect the site against abuse, spam and security incidents.
• To understand aggregate usage and improve pages, only with your consent.
• To fund the platform through advertising, only with your consent.
• To comply with applicable law and lawful requests.

Where consent is the basis (analytics and advertising), you may withdraw it at any time via the “Cookie settings” link in the footer. Withdrawal does not affect processing that already happened.

4. Who processes data on our behalf

• Supabase — authentication, database and file storage.
• Vercel or a comparable host — website delivery, server logs and security.
• Google — Analytics 4 and AdSense, only after consent and only if configured.
• Direct sponsors — only where an ad placement is sold directly and you allow advertising.

These providers process data under their own terms and may store it outside India. We share data only as needed to run the service, protect rights, or comply with a valid legal requirement. We do not sell, rent or trade personal information.

5. How long we keep it

Account data is kept while your account exists and for a short period afterwards for security and legal records. Support and copyright emails are kept only as long as needed to resolve the matter. Server logs are retained for a limited operational window by our providers. Browser-stored data remains until you clear it.

6. How we protect it

We use encrypted connections, row-level access controls in our database, restricted admin access and least-privilege credentials. No system is perfectly secure; if a breach affects your rights, we will notify you and the relevant authority as required by law.

7. Your rights

Subject to applicable law, you may request access to the personal data we hold about you, ask for correction or deletion, withdraw consent, or raise a grievance. Email onlinecscwala@gmail.com with enough detail for us to locate your record. We may need to verify your identity before acting. You can also delete your account from the account area where available.

8. Children

The site is intended for people aged 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a child has provided data, contact us and we will remove it.

9. Cookies and similar technologies

Our Cookie Policy lists exactly what is stored, what is optional, and how to change your choice. Optional scripts do not load before consent.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the service or the law changes. Material changes will be reflected on this page with a new effective date, and where required we will ask for consent again.
